Kansas City chef · Private dinners · Pop-ups
Food from the kitchens I learned in, from Panama City to DC, Los Angeles, Kenya and New Orleans, brought home to Kansas City.

Every place I've cooked left something on the plate. Each stop shapes what you'll eat at a PlatedByAce dinner.

Meet the chef
I grew up in Kansas City kitchens, watching my Mom and Papa cook and learning that food is how my family shows love. I started in the kitchen at Loews Hotel in high school and trained at the Center for Academic Achievement's culinary program, then left home to cook wherever the work would teach me something.
Now I'm back, building PlatedByAce: dinners that tell the story of where I've been, with every course finishing at home.
Eat the meat, throw away the bones. My mom's saying. Take the good, leave the rest.
